We believe every action counts for the planet. That’s why, since 2019, we have been committed to developing and offering eco-friendly alternatives for events across France.

We have created a complete range of water-free sanitary solutions. Our dry units that require power are operated using solar energy, and we are also developing a urine recovery network to transform it into natural fertiliser, in partnership with Toopi Organics.

A mark of the professionalism behind our environmental commitment : we are ISO 14001 certified and currently working towards ISO 20121 certification.

Is there a risk of unpleasant odours with dry toilets?
In our bio-managed, eco-sourced litter dry toilets, wood chips (sourced from Normandy) help absorb waste and neutralise odours. Additionally, when you rent dry toilets, you benefit from a full hygiene maintenance service for the duration of your event. This includes cleaning and disinfecting all contact surfaces to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for your guests.

For separating dry toilets, waste is moved to storage tanks via a conveyor belt. They are also equipped with a mechanical ventilation system to prevent any unpleasant odours.

What happens to the waste from our dry toilets?
Happee is rigorous in the management and tracking of its waste. Organic waste from these dry toilets is recycled into compost and, depending on the region, converted into electricity. For urine collection, we are working with the startup Toopi Organics to transform it into natural fertiliser, supporting chemical-free agriculture.
