Happee Services and SWITTEC: manufacturing made in France
11 July 2022
Did you know? Happee Services has an on-board manufacturer, Swittec a subsidiary of the Enygea Group, which has been producing equipment in France since 2019.
Swittec, a company made in France
Located in Bruay-sur-l’Escaut, in the Hauts-de-France region, it is a specialist company in vehicle fitting and the manufacture of sanitary equipment, belonging to the Enygea Group (Happee Services’ parent company). In line with its strong growth, the Group has invested €2 million in new premises and special production tools, and has increased its workforce from 8 technicians to 20. Five more recruitments are in the pipeline. These investments are proof of the Group’s commitment to local production and to playing its part in the re-industrialisation of France.
Quality guaranteed by Swittec
Swittec is made up of 20 experts with complementary skills. Carpentry, mechanics, welding and electrical work are all mastered and innovated thanks to the technical and design engineering department. For Happee Services, they are developing exclusive sanitary ranges, including the City Loo and the hand-washing ramp. They also specialise in custom-built vacuum trucks for a wide range of events. Happee Services is ISO 9001 certified, confirming the company’s quality policy and its desire to continually improve.
An eco-responsible approach
Happee Services is also ISO 14001 certified for environmental protection. This requires Swittec to use the most ecologically responsible equipment possible. That’s why they offer gas-powered vehicles. They also have a spare parts shop and an after-sales workshop, to ensure that their equipment lasts as long as possible and that consumption is kept to a minimum. Finally, they offer a range of dry toilets such as the Bostia unit and the dry toilet with wood shavings, to protect water resources.
Hygiene everywhere and for everyone
Lastly, Swittec advocates accessibility for all, in line with the beliefs of Happee Services, which aims to provide inclusiveness and accessibility for all. One person in ten suffers from a mild or severe disability, so we need to develop solutions for people with motor disabilities, pregnant women, the elderly and people with reduced mobility. That’s why Swittec offers Mobile toilets accessible to all with access ramps and equipment that meets current PRM standards.
