DIAGNOSIS

Our sales team listens to your needs and recommends the most suitable sanitary equipment for your event, location, and budget.

DELIVERY & COLLECTION

Our teams handle the safe delivery and collection of all equipment.

INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING

We install your equipment at the desired location and take care of all necessary details to ensure it is ready to use without any intervention from you.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

In compliance with environmental regulations, we process waste from dry toilets at nearby treatment centres, providing full traceability.

CLEANING, DISINFECTION & EMPTYING

We operate according to a schedule agreed with our client or based on data from the connected monitoring system to clean, disinfect, and restock consumables in the CITYLOO. During these visits, we also empty the solid waste container and the urine tank throughout the rental period.

DLR RECOMMENDATIONS

Happee Services complies with the “Recommendations for the rental of mobile dry toilets and associated services” issued by the DLR, ensuring the quality of equipment, service, and hygiene standards.

Environmental Benefits

PRESERVING WATER RESOURCES

Our individual dry toilets operate without any water consumption. Organic waste (feces and urine) is covered with wood chips. This layering, called “bedding”, absorbs odors. Each use of our dry toilets saves approximately 8 litres of water.

RECYCLING, DURABILITY & BIO-BASED MATERIALS

To limit waste and support sustainable development, we integrate recycling, durability, and eco-design into the core of our R&D and manufacturing processes for our ecological sanitary units.

The birch wood used in our dry toilets is gradually being replaced by a “compact” material with a natural wood appearance, composed of 65% natural paper fibers from sustainably managed forest wood and recycled paper materials. Our supply sources are FSC® and PEFC certified, ensuring responsible forestry and sustainable forest management according to international regulations.

This material contains no halogenated organic compounds, asbestos, chemical treatments, sulfur, mercury, or cadmium. Specially designed for outdoor use in public spaces, its lifespan can exceed 50 years and it has been certified by a verified FDES Inies.

Our polyethylene dry toilets are 100% recyclable.
Our dry toilet caravans are refurbished recirculating caravans (20+ years old) fully rebuilt by our SWITTEC production workshop in Hauts-de-France, giving them a second life with Made in France craftsmanship.

SUSTAINABLE CONSUMABLES

Committed to a global environmental approach, we pay attention to every detail:

  • Unbleached toilet paper, made from 100% recycled food-grade cartons, ECOLABEL certified

  • Wood chips from untreated Northern European conifers, supplied by Ecobox, a PEFC-certified company, ensuring sustainable forest management

  • When waste is valorized as compost or biogas, it is packaged in certified corn-based biodegradable bags (OKCOMPOST, 100% plant-based)

COLLECTING AND VALORISING URINE

To minimise the environmental impact of your cultural, sporting, and musical events, we offer a unique and innovative service for collecting urine, which is then transformed into agricultural bio-solutions by our partner Toopi Organics.

In 2022, we supported 7 major events, collecting over 120 m³ of urine from dry urinals, saving nearly 1,440 m³ of water and potentially fertilising 5,000 hectares with an eco-friendly solution approved by an official Marketing Authorisation.

We continue to support your environmental commitments, with a 2023 collection roadmap covering over 60 engaged events.

VALORISING SOLID WASTE

Organic waste from our dry toilets is valorised into compost, biogas, or energy based on three criteria:

  • Proximity of the valorisation centre to the Happee Services agency or your event site, to reduce CO₂ emissions from transport

  • Capacity of the centre to provide waste traceability documentation

  • Ability of the treatment centre to sort the waste before valorisation. This is essential for composting: as our dry toilets are open to the public, non-biodegradable items may end up in the bedding, and must be removed beforehand to avoid contaminating agricultural land.
