2024 was an exceptional year for Happee Services, consolidating our position as an expert in the hire of mobile sanitary facilities for major sporting events. This year, we had the honour of taking part in some of the most prestigious sporting events in Paris, where every detail counts in delivering an unforgettable experience for both spectators and participants.

We have risen to meet the requirements of the ever-increasing demands of large-scale sporting events. Every year, these events attract ever-larger and more demanding crowds, requiring seamless logistics and closely tailored services. Organisers of prestigious events recognise us as a partner capable of guaranteeing the satisfaction of both spectators and athletes.

Ensuring hygiene and convenience at major events

2024 gave us the opportunity to take part in world-class events, such as this summer’s games. The event, which attracts thousands of people, both spectators and participants, is a key moment where every detail relating to convenience and hygiene is of great importance. Our teams worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience by providing sanitary facilities tailored to specific needs, and impeccably maintained. Each installation of our equipment was meticulously planned and executed, working in coordination with the organising teams, to ensure that everything ran smoothly, from installation to effluent maintenance, right up to dismantling.

Happee Services’ role at sporting events

Our role, albeit discreet, is a vital one: to ensure that spectators and participants can enjoy these highlight moments without worrying about the practicalities, such as access to sanitary facilities. Our equipment is designed to offer not only impeccable hygiene but also optimal comfort, even in the most demanding conditions. This enabled us to support this internationally renowned sporting event, where the slightest oversight could have altered the visitor experience. By being at the heart of the action, we played a key role in ensuring that the sanitary aspect never became an obstacle, but rather an asset, contributing to the success of these events.

Happee Services offers hygiene solutions for all types of sporting events

Whether it’s a small local competition, a marathon or a major sports festival, WC Loc offers a complete range of sanitary facilities to meet your needs.

Our solutions include:

Self-contained toilets: ideal for outdoor events where it is difficult to connect sanitary facilities to the water or drainage network.
Urinals: ideal for events with large crowds, they ensure that the traffic flow of participants is managed smoothly. They are designed to optimise space and speed of use.
Urinals are often associated with men. However, at Happee Services, we provide female urinals to relieve congestion in sanitary areas.
Dry toilets: these are an eco-friendly option for organisers who want to limit the environmental impact of their event. These toilets are waterless and transform waste into compost, reducing the ecological footprint.
Hand-washing facilities: to guarantee meticulous hygiene, our facilities include hand-washing facilities that are easy to use, even in outdoor environments. They are integrated into our solutions and offer participants a convenient way of washing their hands.

Installation time: a well-thought-out process

We started installing our equipment in November 2023, after having studied the dossier and preparing the logistics since 2021. This lengthy process enabled us to define the best installation strategies, while taking into account the specific features of each site. In the first phase, we deployed the fitters, followed by the athletes and then the visitors. Each phase of the installation was orchestrated to ensure that all parties concerned could benefit from sanitary solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Iconic sites in the heart of the action

In 2024, Happee Services managed the sanitary facilities at several iconic Parisian sites, including the Eiffel Champ de Mars, the Trocadero, the Invalides, the Grand Palais, the Alexandre III Bridge and the Place de la Concorde. Each venue presented unique challenges in terms of logistics and visitor numbers. We adapted our solutions to meet the specific needs of each event, guaranteeing optimal comfort and impeccable hygiene for participants and visitors, while respecting the aesthetic and historical aspect of these venues. For each site, site managers were appointed to supervise the control room and ensure that on-site operations ran smoothly. They were responsible for coordinating the sanitary facilities, maintenance and optimising user traffic flows. They played a key role in ensuring that everything ran smoothly, working closely with our technical teams and the event organisers.

Sanitary solutions accessible to all

As part of Happee Services’ commitment to meeting the needs of all participants, we have integrated a new innovative solution developed by our manufacturer SWITTEC: the Family and PRM Toilet Cubicles. Designed to meet accessibility and inclusivity standards, these cubicles offer optimal comfort for people with reduced mobility (PRM) and families with children. They were deployed at major 2024 events, such as those held in Paris this summer, to ensure that every participant could enjoy the event in the best possible conditions. These cubicles are spacious, convenient and equipped to meet the specific needs of users with disabilities.

The commitment of our subsidiaries: Waterlab and Moov&Cook

As part of our presence at the major event in 2024, our subsidiaries played a key role allowing us to fulfil our mandate. Waterlab, which specialises in drinking water connections, ensured optimal management of the water supply at some of the iconic sites, such as the opening ceremony of this summer’s Paris event. Supported by their expertise, we were able to guarantee the provision of faultless sanitary facilities and meet all the technical requirements for this type of large-scale event. In addition, Moov&Cook, our subsidiary dedicated to event catering, also managed food and catering services, notably at the Palais de Tokyo, contributing to the overall experience of both participants and visitors. Together, these two entities strengthen our ability to offer comprehensive, integrated solutions for exceptional events.

Happee Services ventures well beyond just toilet hire. As provider to the biggest event in Paris in 2024, we demonstrated our ability to manage world-class events, offering sanitary solutions accessible to all.
