Happee Services also offers eco-friendly and sustainable sanitation solutions.
Choosing dry toilets not only helps preserve our planet’s water resources, but also enables the recycling of organic matter into compost or energy. Opting for dry toilets and urinals also contributes to sustainable events and supports the development of resilient, circular agriculture.
At Happee Services, we provide a urine collection service using adapted equipment and vehicles, allowing it to be converted into bio-agricultural solutions through our partner Toopi Organics.
Explore our range of dry toilets, including traditional wood-chip toilets, as well as innovative solutions such as dry toilet caravans, female dry urinals (madamePee), and separation dry toilets. Our dry toilet cabins are also available in accessible (PMR) and family versions (with changing tables), as inclusivity, water saving, and waste valorisation are at the heart of our investment and equipment development strategy.

How Do Separation Dry Toilets Work?
Solid waste is collected in a separate container, while urine is captured and stabilised using adapted vehicles, allowing it to be recycled as fertiliser. Dry toilets also help achieve significant water savings: a traditional flush toilet consumes 40–50 litres of potable water per person per day, whereas dry toilets use no water at all.
What Happens to the Waste from Our Dry Toilets?
Happee is a licensed waste collector and takes strict measures in monitoring and managing all waste. Organic waste from our dry toilets is either recycled into compost or converted into electricity, depending on the region. For urine collection, we are testing its conversion into natural fertiliser through our partner Toopi Organics, supporting chemical-free agriculture.
Is There a Risk of Bad Odours with Dry Toilets?
In our dry toilets with biocontrolled and eco-sourced litter, wood chips (from Normandy) help absorb liquids and neutralise odours. When you rent dry toilets, you also benefit from a complete hygiene maintenance service for the entire duration of your event, including cleaning and disinfecting all contact surfaces, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for your guests.
For separation dry toilets, effluents are transported to tanks via a conveyor system and are additionally equipped with mechanical ventilation to prevent any unpleasant odours.
