Happee Services becomes official technical partner of the Tour de France
12 May 2026
Happee Services, part of the Enygea group, has reached a major milestone: an official partnership with Amaury Sport Organisation for the next five years of the Tour de France.
A significant recognition of its expertise in mobile sanitation management for one of the most demanding sporting events in the world.
A large-scale logistical operation on the world’s biggest cycling race
On the Tour de France, nothing stands still. Every day, everything moves.
And that includes the toilets.
As Alice Lemaire, Marketing and Communications Director at Enygea, explains:
“There have to be toilets right to the end. We are the first to arrive and the last to leave.”
In practical terms, this means:
- installation early in the morning at the start area
- dismantling in the early afternoon
- immediate relocation to the finish city
- reinstallation often late at night
An intense rhythm repeated for almost a month.
A mobile team working 24/7
To keep up with this unique pace, around twenty technicians are deployed continuously throughout the event.
Their role:
- install facilities before the arrival of spectators and riders
- ensure continuous operation
- dismantle and reinstall equipment every day for the next stage
The system relies on:
- Enygea’s local agencies across France and Europe
- dedicated service vehicles for waste removal and maintenance
- reinforced equipment designed for high-demand usage
A full range of sanitation solutions for all audiences
On the Tour de France, Happee Services deploys a wide range of equipment tailored to different needs:
- standard and technical mobile toilets
- self-contained sanitation units
- showers
- dedicated facilities for VIP areas and technical teams
It also provides solutions for the general public in stage towns, in coordination with local authorities.
Unique expertise in itinerant event logistics
What makes the Tour de France unique is its constant mobility.
Unlike a festival or fixed-site event, every day requires:
- extremely tight deadlines
- highly precise logistics
- constant adaptation to different terrains (mountains, city centres, rural areas…)
As Enygea highlights, it is a daily race against time, closely mirroring the riders themselves.
International recognition for the Enygea group
With more than 120 agencies across Europe, including 50 in France, Enygea now works on some of the world’s largest events:
- Olympic Games in Paris and Milan
- major festivals such as Hellfest
- large-scale sporting and cultural events
However, the Tour de France remains a flagship event due to its logistical complexity and global visibility.
This official partnership with ASO marks an important step for Happee Services, confirming its position as:
- a leading player in mobile sanitation for major events
- an operator capable of managing complex itinerant operations
- a company committed to ensuring comfort, hygiene and continuity of service across France and Europe
Beyond the technical aspect, the Tour de France is also an intense human experience: teamwork, daily travel, demanding conditions and constant commitment.
An experience that perfectly reflects Happee Services’ mission:
👉 making the essential invisible… but always available.
