Self-contained toilets can therefore be installed anywhere, provided there is access for our waste collection vehicle, as they do not require any connection to the mains water or sewage systems.

What is a vacuum toilet?
These toilets use vacuum pressure as a driving force, through a suction mechanism. Vacuum technology is commonly used in toilets on trains and aeroplanes, which must operate as closed systems. The main advantage of this system is its very low water consumption: around 70ml per flush, compared to an average of 9 litres for traditional toilets. Vacuum technology is particularly well-suited to high-traffic events.

How do dry toilets work?
Dry toilets are the most environmentally friendly toilets we offer. Indeed, they do not use any water: the tank contains organic litter with wood chips or a patented system that separates faeces and urine. Dry toilets also have the advantage of allowing waste to be recycled. There are three possible recycling options: into electricity via anaerobic digestion, into compost at dedicated facilities, or, where separate urine collection is possible, into natural fertiliser via our partner Toopi Organics.

How many toilets should I plan for my event?
How many people do you expect to host? Will there be catering services? How long will your event last? These are all questions we’ll discuss together to determine the right number of toilets for your event!
