Hellfest 2026: a wide-ranging sanitary system to support festival-goers

To mark the latest edition of Hellfest, HAPPEE Services has once again supported the festival in setting up its health and safety measures. For several years now, the organisers have continued to place their trust in us to meet the needs of this unmissable event, which welcomes tens of thousands of festival-goers to Clisson every year.

Sanitation facilities tailored to the festival’s needs

To meet the needs of an event hosting tens of thousands of festival-goers, our teams rolled out a large-scale sanitation programme across the entire site. In total, 340 toilet cubicles, 42 toilet units (including the LooLoo), 90 Pop Up units and 6 racks de 10 douches were installed. Spread across the various areas of the festival, this facilities were designed to offer comfort, accessibility and ease of movement to festival-goers, whilst meeting the requirements of an event of this scale.

Teams rising to the challenge of demanding conditions

This year’s event was characterised by particularly high temperatures, making operating conditions more challenging. To ensure the expected standard of service, our teams remained fully mobilised before, during and after the event. Their responsiveness and commitment enabled us to maintain the facilities and support the organisers throughout the festival.

A circular economy approach

Beyond the operational aspect, this year’s event is also part of an environmental initiative. The 34 m³ of urine collected via our dry urinals will be recycled to produce agricultural bio-solutions. This initiative illustrates how sanitation solutions can now contribute to more responsible resource management.

A strong local presence supporting the event

The success of this scheme also relies on the proximity of our teams. Thanks to HAPPEE Services’ local presence, based near Clisson, we are able to respond quickly and provide operational support as close to the ground as possible. Ideally situated between Nantes, Cholet and Montaigu-Vendée, our branch benefits from a strategic location that facilitates logistics and operations at the festival. This local presence is a real asset in effectively meeting the needs of an event of this scale, whilst guaranteeing responsiveness, availability and quality of service.
